Welcome dear readers! After a much deserved summer break, we are back, and our team is growing. We are delighted to welcome Jackie Jun Ji, our new assistant and social media strategist. Jackie is a postgraduate in Digital Marketing Communications, a former marketer in Entertainment and Fashion, who is very much intrigued by social studies.

Adi Kuntsman is a researcher and writer, the coordinator of the blog and of the Digita Politics research cluster and PhD programme. Noran Fouad is a Lecturer in Digital Politics at MMU. Her research lies at the intersection of technology, security, and governance, with a particular focus on cybersecurity. You can check her university profile here.

Ting Luo is Senior Lecturer of Political Communication at MMU. Her current research focuses on the impact of digital development on governance and political participation in authoritarian regimes. Her research interests include comparative politics, digital politics and media, elections and democratisation, and Chinese politics. You can see her profile here.
